Merry Christmas!!

We had a great Christmas this year! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my parents house, then went to Dan's parents for a yummy Christmas dinner. We are very lucky that we get to celebrate with both of our families, and even though it is pure craziness on Christmas I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Wow, I can not believe five years ago today I was holding you in my arms for the first time. You are such an amazing little girl and I am incredibly proud of the young lady you are becoming. You are independent, intelligent, funny, adventurous, and the list could go on. I love you so much and I look forward to another amazing year :)

Disney on Ice!!

Last year I took Reese to Disney on Ice with our friends Brooke and Tracy but I thought this year Hudson might enjoy it too. They both had the best time and I enjoyed spending the day with my kids!

Chicago!!!

I love this time of year in Chicago! We spent a couple of days with Dan's brother and then headed to the city for a few more. We had a jam packed five days, we went to the movies, Navy Pier, ice skating, the American Girl store, and Shedd Aquarium. Chicago was a true winter wonderland, and I am so glad the kids got to experience the snow during Christmas time :)

The Shedd Aquarium was the best one I have ever been too! I wish we could have stayed longer but we had a flight to catch. We will definitely go back on our next trip :)

Santa!!

I have not had a computer for weeks, so I am finally back :) Reese and Hudson were very excited to tell Santa all about the things they wanted. Reese asked for Changing time baby, a Tangled bike, and the barbie dream house. Quite a list huh? Hudson told Santa he wanted a candy cane. Can you tell the difference between my kids?

Thanksgiving!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year :) I am so thankful for my family, friends, and the three loves of my life, Dan, Reese and Hudson! I look forward to everyday that I get to spend with my family. This year we spent Thanksgiving at my parents house. The dinner was super yummy but cut short because Hudson fell into my parents dresser and we had to take him to get stitches. He was such a brave little boy and I hope this was our last ER visit for a long time.

Date night with my Girl!!!

Reese doesn't get very much alone time with just me, so I decided to treat her to a fun Mommy and Daughter night. We went to dinner and to see the Beauty and the Beast musical. We had the best night and I loved having her all to myself! Reese isn't always very affectionate, but this night she must have kissed me a dozen times. I know she appreciated this time with me and I am going to try and do more nights like this :)
